Hi Tongyal,Yea the lens used was a 500mm f/4 but also bit of luck was involved to have been able to approach the crane so close.Sangay, the camera that shot the image (BNC) is as follows:Body : Canon 10DLens : Canon EF 500mm f/4 IS USMTripod: GitzoTripod Head: Wimberley GimbleCF Card: SanDisk Extreme 4GBI am now using:Body : Canon 50DLens : Canon 800mm f/5.6 IS USMTripod : GitzoTripod Head : Wimberley GimbleCF Card : SanDisk 8GB Extreme
........ come to think of it, even the image of the Hoopoe was shot with 10D. They are my earliest images. I love that camera body :)-
